FYI to the first answerer: Those cabinets can be purchased with solid plywood
A: Thomasville are a little better than Kraftmaid, but it is not noticable. Go for the style you like best. You can get solid wood construction on both, but most people don't care or notice the difference. I honestly have bought Kraftmaid for 2 homes

Kraftmaid cabinets are quality cabinets
The one we finally settled on is part of the Crosscreek cabinetry line from Kraftmaid and is called Kentfield. The cabinet is sold as a vanity base only so you need to purchase a top for it separately. It comes in 30", 36", 48" and 60 inch sizes. The one we purchased measures 36". The cabinet is made of solid wood and looks more like a piece of furniture than a standard cabinet. It has a warm brown hazelnut glaze on it and it is darker in the grooves and around the raised parts of the door and the frame. It has 2 drawers and one door and included the hardware which is a bronze color. The drawers have dovetail construction and concealed drawer glides. One drawer also comes with plastic trays inside for organizing things like cosmetics. It comes completely assembled and includes a lifetime warranty. Many people on the Jersey Shore are moving back to reclaim what’s left of their homes and that involves a lot of materiel, in the form of lumber, drywall, tools and other supplies. One resident has noticed, through many personal swipes of the credit card, that retailers like Lowe’s and Home Depot, and supplies manufacturers like OwensCorning and USG, are reaping big profits in the destruction zone. Many independent hardware stores have not yet reopened, likely due to lack of support from a secure home office, so chains continue to cash in on the Hurricane Sandy recovery. For more on this continue reading the following article from TheStreet .
It's hard to believe it's been six months since Hurricane Sandy ravaged the Northeast, including the beloved spot at the Jersey Shore where my family has congregated since the 1940s. We were among the lucky; our little 1949 cottage took on 26 inches of water, enough to ruin the downstairs and all of its contents, but many were far worse off, losing their primary residences indefinitely.
